finally getting started

It has taken a long time and a few slip ups...like I just got this blog started...completely by accident. Well, never mind. It has been a long time coming.
I guess I should just dive in. I go to the Jersey shore every summer to my in-laws lovely little house and spend a fair amount of time on the beach. I like to read on the beach and have always been curious "wonder what that lady over there is reading.". Last year I decided I would just ask. It might even be fun. Turns out it was fun. I met a whole lot of interesting people and got a book list that can't be found anywhere else.
I started with a basic list of questions and just went from towel to towel asking questions about what they were reading. There were a few vacationers who did not want to be interviewed, but most were happy to share their thoughts, ideas and opinions about what they were reading.
